Jessica and Devin’s Crockett Farm Wedding was truly a blessing. Many of the people at the wedding were not sure if the wedding would ever happen, not because of any doubt of Jessica and Devin’s love for each other, but because of the diagnosis Jessica received several years before. The scars that Jessica carries with her are scars she wears with pride. They are a symbol of the strength she has, the battles that she fought with Devin and all the people she loved supporting her, and a symbol of the amazing gift she received from a heart donor, someone who could not know how many times they were thanked during Jessica and Devin’s day. The zest that Jessica and Devin have for life was clearly displayed on their wedding day, filled with great whiskey, ribs, ice cream, laughter and love.
